Tense but Not Anxious (When reporting a study use what?)

When reporting a study, use past tense. Definition: Past tense is used to describe an action, study, behavior, or condition that happened in the past. A study that was conducted just 5 minutes ago still occurred in the past so use past tense. Mueller and Oppenheimer (2014) compared longhand to laptop notetaking and found that laptop notetaking impaired learning.
