Prohibits the driver from entering a restricted road section.

Do Not Enter Sign

Seen as a yellow pennant shaped sign or a white rectangular sign. The yellow sign is found on the left side of the road while the white sign is found on the right side. Means that you cannot pass other vehicles in this area.

No Passing Sign

Prohibits a right turn on a red light at selected intersections.

No Turn On Red

Tells you that traffic on that road flows in the direction of the arrow only.

One Way Sign

Control and regulate traffic, give mandatory instruction to drivers, usually white with black letters, or red with white letters. Some signs prohibit certain actions, those signs are square with black lettering on a white background. A red circle with a slash indicates that the action is forbidden.

Regulatory Signs

Example of a regulatory sign, shows the maximum speed permitted under ideal conditions, regularly found on the right side of the road.

Speed Limit Sign

Only 8 sided sign, tells you that you must come to a complete stop before the stop line or crosswalk area, red with white letters.

Stop Sign

Used when a lane in the center of the roadway is used only by left turning vehicles in either direction.

Two Way Left Turn Only

Used to warn you of potentially hazardous conditions ahead so that you will proceed with extra caution. Regularly seen as yellow with black lettering or symbols. Often indicate curves or turns in the road, when one is spotted you are to reduce your speed, recommended speed is often displayed. Also warn you of reduction of traffic lanes.
