NOT statistical. There is only one answer to this question.
Not statistical (non-statistical) Question
Questions that can be answered with ONE answer. For example, What is your favorite color? How many books did you read today? What is Tom's favorite sport?
Collecting data
gathering information by giving surveys, interviewing people, or researching
Statistical Question
A statistical question is a question that will have several different answers. For example, how tall are your classmates? This is a statistical question because you will have several different anwers. But if a question will only have one answer then it is NOT a statistical question. For example, How tall is Jane? Or Do you like pizza? Both of these questions will only have one answer. Questions that can be answered with a yes or no are NOT statistical questions.
