Hollywood Flat

Also known as "hard flats"; Traditionally used in TV/Film, however, nowadays are commonly used in theatre. These are made out of a 1x3 lumber frame and faced with 1/4" Lauan. Most come in 4'x8', 4'x10', 4'x12' Sizes

Broadway Flat

Also known as "soft flats"; Soft Flats are the traditional type of flat used in theatre. These are made out of a 1x3 lumber frame and covered with lightweight muslin. These can be easily flown in and out in a theater with a working fly rail. Most come in 4'x8', 4'x10', 4'x12' Sizes.

Wooden Platforming

Sections of flooring that add height to the existing stage. Size is based on the sizes of sheet lumber. Mostly stock sizes are 4'x8'. Normally built with 1x6 or 2x4 framing, and a 3/4" plywood lid/top. Legs are usually made from 2x4s

Steel Decking

Sections of flooring that add height to the existing stage. These are considered to basic building blocks of the theater and entertainment industries. These are constructed using steel truss frame with high quality 3/4" plywood tops. Standard steel deck will accept 4 legs of 1.5" schedule 40 steel pipe.
