Daoism
The basic idea behind Daoism is to appreciate, learn from, and work with whatever happens in everyday life. Accorindg to Daoism, if you follow the lead of the world around you, you will live in harmony, balance, and happiness.

-He ended Legalism and softened harsh punishments. -Brought peace and stability to the Chinese Empire -Conquered much of Asia and helped China became strong and rich.
What led to an increase in trade during the Han dynasty?
-Stability was established across China. One result of this stability was an increase in trade between the regions that are now India, Pakistan, Iraq and Iran, and as far as the Mediterranean Sea to Rome Brought peace and stability to the Chinese Empire -Silk became an important export for the Chinese. Nobles and kings of foreign lands desired silk and would pay high prices for the cloth.
