Planning is where it starts/First step. And consist of the following: 1. Forecast the Future. 2. Develop Strategies. 3. Set Goals. 4. Analyze the Environment.
What is Organizing?
1. Building the Org Chart. 2. Resources in the right places. 3. Align authority and resources. You Organize to support your plans.
What is management?
A discipline that consists of a set of the four: 1. Leading/Directing 2. Planning 3. Controlling 4. Organizing. Some Managers do all but all do at least one.
What is Controlling?
Controlling is to direct progress towards the goal by: 1. Monitoring progress toward goal achievement. 2. Keeping things on track. 3. Stoping Errors/Misdirection.
