60. Kraft paper

a brown building paper which resists puncturing.

55. Lacquer -

a finishing material made of nitrocellulose which dries by evaporation of the solvents

Tongue and groove

a joinery method where a board has a protruding tongue on one edge and a groove on the other, the tongue of one board fits into the groove of the next

56.brick molding

a molding for window and exterior door frames.

Tenon

a projection made by cutting away the wood around it to insert into a mortise to make a joint

52. Arbor -

a short shaft or spindle on which another rotating part is mounted

50. Contact cement

neoprene rubber based adhesive which bonds instantly upon contact of parts being fastened

49. Blind nailing

refers to tongue and groove flooring. Nails are placed at the root of the tongue where they will be hidden

rings or layers of wood which represent one growth period of a tree. In cross sections the rings may indicate the age of the tree

Story stick

scrap strip of wood used to record dimensions for a project on site, then the dimensions are used in the shop to build the project .This method reduces the chance of error due to misreading numbers, etc.

the top and two sides of a door or window frame which contact the door or sash.
