Python

An interpreted, general-purpose, object-oriented language similar to PERL that has gained popularity because of its clear syntax and readability. Created by Guido van Rossum

An object-oriented language from Microsoft that aims to combine the computing power of C++ with the programming ease of Visual Basic. It is based on C++ and contains features similar to those of Java.
