- Prism center for LGTBQIA+ identifying students (queer prom) - Mosaic center for students of color (fashion show) - Women And Gender Equity Center for all those who identify as women (leadership courses) - Interfaith center for all religions and lack thereof (dinners)
CCRH
- Residential Learning communities - all students are required to live on campus for two years, 70% of juniors and seniors live off campus - students will do stuff that promote the theme of the LC - some examples are leadership, outdoor experience to wellness environment.

- career center, you are a catamount for life - help to do mock interviews and prepare you by giving you advice on resume, interviews, find internships etc - Handshake helps students to find internships and jobs - UVM Connect is like a Facebook for UVM alumni looking for UVM students, (insert joke about finding Dad on there)

- different housing options, suites, doubles, singles, all the furniture in the showroom is included In all rooms - roommates, you fill out something similar to match.com, can always do trading spaces if need be - if someone else needs to use the showroom, can talk about this outside of CCRH
third floor of DC
- diversity and equity lounge, centrally located hub for the different affinity centers on campus - student life: UPB, handles a lot of the events on campus, hosts fallfest and springfest with big artists as well as cats at the movies - FSL: 9% of the student population, 8 fraternities and 6 sororities, participate in a lot of philanthropic efforts - bookstore: everything green, gold and catamount
Fleming
- largest fine art museum in VT - hosts different programs - professors will bring in their students to see things in the museum, rotating exhibits, returning everything that was stolen
in front of Davis Center
- living room of campus - below us are the student media organizations: The Cynic, Watertower, WRUV - SGA, seats are reserved for first years, recognizes most clubs, make a difference in the UVM community
Howe library
- main library at UVM other than Dana Medical and Billings - first floor is talking floor, second floor is chips floor, third floor is silent and scary - reserve desk, students can take out books for two hours that their professors reserve - media services: can check out stuff - reference desk: someone there from every college that can assist you in research opportunities
Visitors Center
- panel speel - History! UVM is the 5th oldest school in New England, founded in 1791 by Ira Allen, Ethan Allens brother (Revolutionary War Hero), Ira Allen had two requests for the school, one was that there is plenty of room for cows to graze (insert students instead of cows joke) other was that the school be named after him. - 4 campuses

- point out camels hump - we love the outdoors lol - Outing club: largest club on campus, all students are automatically enrolled, can rent gear, go on trips - Ski and snowboard club: second largest club on campus, biggest ski and snowboard club in the country, $20 enrollment fee and discounted passes, shuttles to mountains, can learn to ski

- ran by RA's, students that live on your floor and help to build community - where packages will be held, can get things like vacuums - mail room, kitchen

- welcome to Davis center - fishbowl - eating on campus: 4 dining halls on each of the campuses, 14 retail locations - different kinds of meal plans, first years get unlimited swipes but they can also do points - there is also the flex plan - dairy bar, one of the points locations, uses dairy from the CREAM program to make their ice cream - wide variety of food options, including Vegan, vegetarian, specific dining thats free of the top allergies - registered dietitian on staff that students can go to

CAS - my home college! - A-Z, anthropology to zoology over 50 majors - largest of the colleges - smaller liberal arts school in the scope of a larger research university - emphasis on teacher student relations - TAP, teacher advisor program, students take a writing intensive elective, professor also serves as the academic advisor - dont worry If you dont know what you want to do, students take numerous classes across all disciplines

CEMS College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences - math, computer science - types of engineering: civil, mechanical, enviormental, electrical, biomedical, abet programs which means that grads can go straight into the profession - AERO club, students race vehicles that run on anything other than gas - different societies for everyone: society of women engineers, black engineers

CESS in waterman - college of educational and social services - education majors, as well as human development and social work - social work majors have yearlong internships with vermont organizations their senior year - students start getting experience in the classroom their junior year - 60 hours of community teaching is required but UVM students will graduate with 600-900 hours!

College of Nursing and Health Sciences - nursing, health services, exercise science - students will do work at UVM Medical Center, largest trauma 1 medical center north of Boston and south of the boarder, students can do their clinicals there, Rowell third floor has a simulation lab emergency room here on campus
Outside of Ifshin
Grossman School of Business - one major... guess what it is lol - students pick from 4 concentrations BAMF - and three themes (global and sustainable business, entrepreneurship), gives students a well rounded approach - ranked top 25% of business schools by US News and World Report - a ton of alumni support, building was funded by alumni - CASE competition - dress for success event
Aiken Center
Rubinstein School of Environmental and Natural Resources - forestry, wildlife biology, environmental sciences - smallest school at UVM - emphasis on hands on learning - research vessel Melosira on Lake Champlain (getting a new one!), Jericho research forest, take Dendrology LEED certified, means that the building complies with sustainability requests.

athletics - three levels, d1, baseball, hockey, etc, club sports (varsity), intramural (fun with friends), there is also the fitness center and campus rec, students get free membership to the fitness center but you can also go to fitness classes

class sizes - lecture is the biggest, 60-295 students - traditional classroom - seminar style is the smallest - you will have a mix throughout your college, career, but you won't have just lectures!

department of theater - students who aren't majors or minors can participate in it - three shows - spread the love with one individual not being able to star in one than one production - even if you dont want to be on the stage you can participate in the productions bts

research! - opportunities are available, no matter your major - all professors are required to be doing even a little bit of research - students can get involved as early as the first year

study abroad! - there are programs for everyone, all students no matter their major, even intense ones, can study abroad - can range from 1 week to 1 year - 500 programs in 70 different countries
