If two parallel lines are cut by a transversal, then the pairs of corresponding angles are congruent.

Transversal definition

a line that intersects 2 or more coplaner lines at 2 diffrent points

Alternate Exterior definition

exterior angles outside of two parallel lines on opposite sides of the transversal

Alternate Interior angles definition

interior angles between two parallel lines on opposite sides of the transversal

Consecutive Interior angles definition

lie between two parallel lines on the same side of the transversal. Supplementary angles if the parallel lines are cut by a transversal.

Alternate Interior angles definition

lie in the region between 2 lines on opposite sides of the transversal

Alternate Exterior angles definition

lie in the region outside of 2 lines on opposite sides of the transversal
