Forced Auto Launch

AV detects forward motion and is not in Auto launch mode: Commands Full Throttle Holds Launcher Pitch angle Aims for a point in the sky directly ahead of the Launcher Climbs to 1000 ft AGL Switches to Knobs Operator can command alternate flight mode when: AV airborne for 30 secs and at 200 ft Or AV is at 500 ft AGL

Flight Plan

AV proceeds to first waypoint At first waypoint AV assumes Altitude and airspeed settings (Altitude and airspeed will ghost out) To un-ghost altitude and airspeed: Select next waypoint or any other waypoint

Auto Launch

Full throttle. Holds Launcher Pitch angle. Aims to pint in the sky directly ahead of the launcher. Climbs to 1000 ft AGL. Switches to Knobs.

Points Nav

When initially selected: Point 3 Km in front of the AV AV will hold a 1.2 Km radius Any following selection: AV will be placed at the last selected point Points Nav is inhibited when any of the following are present: Gen fail Battery fail Ignition fail Auto pilot fail Flight controller self test fail

Glide Emergency mode

After duel uplink loss for 2 secs: AV control surfaces deflect to maintain wings level Throttle goes to idle Flaps remain in position they were commanded prior to link loss Airspeed will be set to maintain optimum glide speed

Return Home Emergency Mode

After duel uplink loss of 2 secs (or 30 secs if in Return Home delay) If initial spiral on - AV will climb / descend to return home route altitude in location If initial spiral off - AV heads to nearest waypoint and climbs / descends to return home point altitude AV flies return home cruise altitude until it reaches programmed return home point AV spirals up / down to return home point final hold altitude AV loiters at return home point until link re established or fuel exhausted

Emergency Mode Take off / Climb

After duel uplink loss of 2 secs and airspeed less than 60 KTS AV will: Transition to glide mode If airspeed is more than 60 KTS AV will: Maintain current heading Command full throttle Command pitch up Climb 1000 ft above link loss altitude Transition to return home mode

TALS Loiter

Altitude and airspeed will ghost AV will climb or descend to acquisition altitude Increase or decrease airspeed to acquisition altitude airspeed

One Button Autoland

Auto Land un-ghosted when AV is within 2 Km of the centre of acquisition Loiter Commands AV to TALS loiter - RIW 'Acquisition Loiter' TALS AS on when AV is within 250 ft of acquisition altitude - RIW 'AS on' Aquire AV - RIW 'Acquiring' Track AV - RIW 'Tracking' Land AV - RIW 'Landing' Decision point - Payload Stow, Video off - RIW 'DP Reached' RIW - 'Payload Stow'; 'Video Tx off'
