A major event that occurred while Obama was president is the killing of Osama bin Laden, the mastermind of the September 11th Attacks. Obama handle the situation by becoming strongly against the use of chemical weapons on civilians.

Barack Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009 for his effort to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation. He hasn't like ice cream since he worked at baskin robbins.

What job/occupation did he have before becoming president?

Barack Obama was the first Black editor of the prestigious Hard Law Review in the 1990s. He then took a job as a community organizer with a church group called the Developing communities Project 2 years later.

Obama's major political issues are he was trying to give legal protection so women could get equal pay. 2. He was most remember for legalizing gay marriage on June 26, 2015 and he signed the "Affordable Care Act" which is known as ''Obamacare"

What do you think it takes to be a successful leader?

To be a successful leader you have to have plan everything out to have a successful solution. You have to think not just for yourself but for everyone involved in the situation. You need to think smart and wise. Don't follow after what everyone else says for the smartest way possible. Sometimes you have to do things for other people even if it doesn't concern you.

Does your chosen US President demonstrate these qualities? How do you know?

Yes, and i know this because Obama allowed gay marriage and he tried to legalize women getting equal pay as men.
