Jezebel
was Ahab's wicked wife
Ahab
was the king of divided Isreal at this time.
Elijah
was the prophet of the Lord who had the task of trying to bring the people back to the Lord.
Elijah Flees to Horeb
Elijah is totally discouraged by the reaction of the Queen and runs for his life. He is fed by angels twice to strengthen him for the journey.
Elijah and Obadiah
Elijah met with Obadiah to tell him that he needed to tell Ahab that he (Elijah) wanted to see him(Ahab)
Elijah at Mt. Carmel part 2
Elijah showed the people of Israel beyond a shadow of a doubt that God was the most powerful and only God when Gof sent fire from heaven to consume the sacrifice and everything around it
Elijah at Kerith Ravine
Elijah tells Ahab that their will be no dew or rain until God(he as his prophet) says there will be. He then goes where God tells him to and is fed by ravens.
Elijah at the Widow at Zarephath
Elijah was spared the famine and drought when he went to live with a woman and her son where her supply of food never ran out
The Lord Appears to Elijah
God taught Elijah a lesson by appearing to him in a very quiet voice and reminding him tha he(God) is in control, not people. He also reminded Elijah that he had work for Elijah to do yet.
