Define the terms, Humanities, Beauty and Aesthetics.

Humanities is art, literature, architecture, languages, etc. Beauty is something that is enjoyable or pleasurable to the beholder. Aesthetics is how beauty inspires you.

Do you think that Beauty today is still related to the concept of morality as related in Ghirlando's painting (slide 4) from the Renaissance period?

I believe beauty does have to do with morality, people who are good to other people and have kind hearts are looked at as beautiful people. This concept ties into Ghirlandaio's painting because Tornabuoni's late wife followed these characteristics as well, she was moral perfection.

How subjective do you find the concept of Beauty? Is what's beautiful to one person usually beautiful to most? Explain any ambiguity.

In my opinion beauty can be different for each person, everyone has their own ideas of lust. Beauty can also be universal, there are many things in our society that many people find beautiful.

What is a Renaissance Man? Do you think that the Renaissance idea is still relative today? Explain.

The Renaissance man is someone who has many different abilities, he excels at many things. Today's Renaissance man is very different, people aren't experts at multiple things anymore, we mainly focus on one given ability and try to learn everything about that specific thing.
