What is tethering?

A mobile device links to a computer, and uses the computers connection to the internet. Normally this is used to activate a device, or for a temporary connection with the internet. There are multiple ways to tether. The name, however, comes from literally being tethered with a cord.

Describe how to make a Bluetooth connection from an iOS device to another device.

Enter pairing mode on the bluetooth device, either by just turning it on, or with a specific "pairing button." Hold down the pairing button for a few seconds, until it indicates its active, either by a noise, or an indicator light. Read the documentation of the bluetooth device for specific instructions, and tips. Activate bluetooth on the device. Do this by going to settings, then bluetooth, then select the bluetooth slider, so its green, and to the right.
