Step by step approach to a sentence order question
1. Determine topic of sentence in question 2. Ask yourself whether it follows logically from the previous sentence and connects to the next 3. If not, reread the paragraph to see where the specific topic appears. The sentence in question should go either before or after the topic.

1. Reread paragraph in question, pay attention to the first (topic) sentence. Rephrase topic (Jot it down). 2. Read the last sentence of the previous paragraph and ask yourself if it leads naturally into the topic of the paragraph in question 3. Skim through each paragraph, looking for a mention of that paragraph.
