Fruit betty
A baked dessert consisting of layers of fruit and cake crumbs.
Fruit crisp
A baked fruit dessert with a strousle topping.
Fruit cobbler
A baked fruit dessert with pastry topping or top crust.
litchi
A chineese fruit the size of a walnut or ping pong ball, It has rough leathery skin which ranges from red to brown. The skin is easy to pull away to get to the white aromic center. Percentage yeild: 50%.
Fruit gratin
A dessert consting of fruit with a topping, browned under a broiler.
Apple Charlotte
A dessert of apples cut up and baked in a mold lined with bread slices.
Pomegranate
About the size of an apple, it has a dry outer skin that is pinky red. Each seed is covered with juicy reed pulp and the pulp is surrounded with membranes. Percentage yeild: 55%.
compote
Cooked fruit sereved in its cooking liquid, usually a sugar syrup.
Persimmon
Orange and red fruits Available in two varieties. the most common is Hachiya, which is shaped like an acorn . the other is called Fuyu which is smaller in size . Percentage yeild: 80%.
Papaya
Pear shaped tropical fruits, with a mild and sweet flavour taste with a foural aroma. The flesh is yellow or pinkish. Papyas csan way less than a pound. Percentage yeild: 65%
Quince
They grow in europe and North America, the fruit resembles a large, yellow lumpy pear with either a smooth or slightly downy skin. The raw fruit is never eaten. when cooked it becomes aromatic, sweet, and juicy and the flesh turns slightly pink. Percentage yeild: 75%.
Kumquat
They look like tiny oranges about the size of an olive.Both the skin and seeds can be eaten. Percentage yield :95-100%.
Passion fruit
Tropical fruits the size of eggs, with a brownish purple skin that becomes wrinkled when ripe. the tart juice has an exotic flavour and aroma. You can eat the seeds. Percentage yeild: 40-45%
Mango
Two types, one is oval with a skin that ranges from green to orange to red, and a kidney shaped with skin that is more yellow when ripened. Mangos have a thin but tough skin and yeelow to orange flesh. Percentage yeild: 75%.
Prickley Pear
this is barrel shaped fruit about the size of a large egg. Its skin colour ranges from magenta to greenish red, with a bright pinkish spongey interrior with black seeds. Percentage yeild: 70%.
