What does an Orange block represent?

A unit that is on hold. Units can be placed on hold when they have been promised to a guest, are being deep cleaned (Beaver Run Only), have been sent to Breck Inn as Walk letters, for Inventory management purposes

What does the green space in AIM represent?

An available unit that can be used to book a guest directly or to upgrade a guest. **Note: On Sold OUT weekends, anything that is available is already being used by pending Overbooked Arrivals from the Breck Inn**

What are the steps to create inventory in AIM?

1) Select Create Inventory 2) Set dates of Arrival & Departure 3)Select Inventory Status 4)Confirmation Number y/n 5) Select "Next" 6) Enter accommodation name 7)Set Room Type 8)Set Guest Type o Direct o Prewalk o Walk 9)Set Room Rate 10) f booking status will be "Booked" or "Confirmed 3p" depending on the property and type of inventory

What is the process to book a reservation in green available space in AIM?

1)Click on specific accommodation and date of arrival 2) Select the length of stay 3) Select Guest type 4)Select Prospect

What does a Red reservation indicate?

A Red "booked" unit is a reservation that has been made with us but has not yet been sent over to the property where the guest will be staying. Often times, reservations made in Pre-Purchased Inventory will not be sent over to the resort until within the week of arrival.

What needs to match in AIM and TSW?

Everything must match in TSW Tour file and AIM!

Pull up Midas website>> Input date range>> view (double click)

What is the proper process for cancelling a reservation in AIM?

Return to available, determine if we are bound to the inventory if so, leave it available and set the room type to walkroom. If we can be returned to the partner property, return the AIM inventory to available and then cancel the reservation

What does the Maroon reservation indicate?

That a reservation has been reserved directly with the property and is confirmed. This status is known as 3rd party confirmed, or 3pd

What is a Direct?

This is when a guest books directly into a unit whether it be a partner property or Breck Inn- Includes all upgrades that were not solicited

What is a PreWalk?

This is when a guest is contacted in advance of their arrival to be offered an upgrade at a heavily discounted rate

What is a Walk?

This is when a guest is physcialy handed a walk letter offering them a complimentary upgrade from the Breck Inn

What is the purpose of AIM?

To manage all MGS inventory, availability, and pending reservations. AIM is also used for various reporting and auditing purposes
