Gives you free unlimited storage for photos and videos. This will compress photos and videos and they will also be compressed when synced to the original device that uploaded them.
Can Edit
Grants the permission to edit a file.
Browser Extension
Not an app, but an add-on that adds features to the Chrome browser.
Status Tray
On the far left of the shelf. When clicked, displays a pop-up message box that gives you the current status of network connections, battery life, who is signed in and more.
Original Format
Option for files saved in Google Photos, they count against your limit and are saved without compression.
RAW Format
Preferred by professional photographers and many hobbyists. It saves all the unprocessed data for an image and creates very large files.
Web App
Runs from a website within the Chrome browser and its not installed into the operating system.

Term for voice and text message options.
Files app
The Chrome OS file management system that is your main tool for working with files, whether they are local to your OS device or in the cloud.
Shelf
The area at the bottom of the screen that displays the shortcuts and features.

The circle in the bottom left of the screen and scrolls up instead of down.
