So as if we were to take any three-dimensional object, and chunk it up into "rigid" bodies, trictly speaking, the same straight line distance, the same angles should maintain between all the different points within a rigid body. It is rigid, it can't sort of warp and shift as it moves. If such a body moves, all its points must maintain the same straight-line distance from each other.
