Running of the bulls occurs each day of the festival. It consists of 6 bulls, different breeds each day, chasing people through the streets. This festival is dedicated to a farmer from the 12 century. During this celebration, people from Spain and tourists gather together in Madrid to celebrate the life and feast of San Isidro. Many people dress up in Chapulo, which is a traditional type of clothing worn around Madrid. During this event, there is always a main concert in Plaza de Mayor. Many concerts and cultural activities are held during these days of celebration. The main treats offered during this celebration are donuts and lemonade.

Escabozados de Jarandilla

This is a celebration about the Virgin Mary which originate from a shepharding tradition. When shepherds returned from the mountain they lit their path with burning brooms which they would put out by hitting each other playfully. For this celebration, everyone lights brooms on fire and hits eachother below the waist. Around the city of Jarandilla there are bonfires and the people Pitarra wine.

a celebration in Sevilla that begins 2 weeks after the easter holy week. It begins at midnight on saturday (called la noche de pesccaito) and on that night, the lights to the portada are turned on. It runs for seven days, and each day starts with a parade towards the central bullring, called la real maestranza. The fairgrounds and river are decorated with lots of casetas that belong to prominent families and powerful people. There is lots of dancing, drinking, eating tapas, and having fun.
