(Remove parachute, have adequate flotation, conscious and breathing)

Clear Head, Neck, Chest (Loosen chin strap-remove raft lanyard if required) (chest quick ejector snap)

Disentanglement sweep*( clear left, clear right, sweep right, sweep left for Jet and Backpack only)

Establish Communication

In Close In Control (ICIC)

Perform final checks***

Perform rescue device safety checks**

Step 4

Remove Oxygen Mask and Check for breathing (2 breaths if needed)

Step 11

Signal rescue platform (2 rescue breaths if needed)
