In "Was It a Dream?", First Person point of view is used. This point of view affects my experience as a reader because it gives me direct insight into what the narrator is thinking and feeling. As a reader, I rely solely on the narrator's point of view. Therefore, I do not know how any of the other characters are feeling throughout the story. In "Was It a Dream?", the narrator says "I am going to tell you our story...", meaning that we are only seeing his side of this epic love story that he explains.
