Make Questions Required By Default

This tool will automatically make all questions in your Google Form be required, meaning the responder must answer all the questions in the form before submitting.

Limit To 1 Response

This tool will only allow the form respondent to submit one response for your Google Form.

Confirmation Message

This tool automatically sends a confirmation message receipt to the responder after the form submission.

View Responses In Sheets Icon

This tool creates a table that displays the data from the form responses in a Google Sheet, with a table of rows and columns, where each record is on one row.

Disable Autosave For All Respondents

This tool restricts saving, so respondents will lose their progress if their browser closes or refreshes.

Allow Response Editing

This tool will allow the form responder to change their responses after submitting their form has been submitted.

Toolbar More Icon

This icon gives you access to additional features such as adding collaborators, making a copy of your form, printing, or deleting.

Link To Sheets Icon

This icon tool will send the responses from your Google Form to a spreadsheet.

Form Title Description

This is the line below the form title and is where additional directions or a summary or description of what your form quiz or survey will cover would go.

Form Title

This is the subject of your form for users to know and see, also known as the header.

Accepting Responses Icon

This is under the responses tab and allows you to turn on and off receiving responses for your form.

This is where you create and edit any questions for your Google Form.

This is where you customize your Google Form to meet your unique criteria or requirements for each Google Form you create.

This tool allows you to add questions from your older Google Forms into your current form, saving time and effort when creating new Google Forms.

Make A Quiz

This tool allows you to assign point values, set answers, and automatically provide feedback for your Google Form.

Settings Tab: Presentation

This tool allows you to manage how the form and responses are presented to the form creator.

Send Copy Of Responses

This tool allows you to manage when to send responders a copy of their responses, with the options of off, when requested, and always sent.

Six Dots Icon

This tool allows you to rearrange the order of your questions within your form by clicking and dragging them to move them in your Google Form.

Show Progress Bar

This tool allows you to see who has and has not responded to your Google Form.

View Results Summary

This tool allows you to share the results and other important details with respondents of your form.

Collect Email Addresses

This tool automatically collects the email addresses from the Google Forms submitted responses, found under the settings tab.

Show Link To Submit Another Response

This tool automatically inserts a link to submit another response after submitting every form.

Shuffle Question Order

This tool automatically mixes up the order of the questions in your Google Form.

Paragraph Text Question Style

Allows a user to input multiple lines of text and is used when a response will be more than a single line of text.

Time and Date Question Style

Allows recipients to fill out a time or date to schedule events, find availability, and more.

Question Description

Allows you the option of adding more details or directions to a question.

Add Image Icon

Allows you to add an image to your form questions.

Undo

Allows you to cancel the last action or command.

Paint Palette Theme Icon

Allows you to change the design of the form, making it more visually appealing, and it should reflect the overall purpose of the form.

Google Forms

An app that collects and analyzes information by creating simple or complex custom online forms, including surveys, quizzes, and sign-ups, and allows you to send them to others.

Duplicate Question Icon

Creates a new question that is the exact copy of the original question.

Form Creator

The user or person that owns or creates the form.

Untitled Form Box

In the top left corner is the title box where you can name your form.

Survey Forms

Polls or questionnaires distributed to a group of people to collect data related to a specific purpose.

Template

A pre-designed file that allows you to create new forms quickly and includes customizable formatting and design options to save you time.

Multiple Choice Question Style

A question style that allows you to select one answer from a list of options.

Dropdown Question Style

A question style type that allows the responder to select an answer through a dropdown menu.

Clear Formatting

A text formatting tool that removes all formatting from the selected text, restoring the original text format style.

Insert Link

A tool that allows users to add a hyperlink to their form.

Insert Image

A tool that allows you to add or remove photos or videos to their form.

Linear Scale Question Style

A user can answer using a number scale and rating things or give feedback on how they felt about something, like an event or course.

Checkboxes Question Style

Allows a user to check multiple options from a list provided.

Grid Question Style

Allows a user to choose a response in a table, graph, or grid.

Short Answer Question Style

Allows a user to enter a single line of text and is used when there are too many answer options to list out.

Redo

Allows you to repeat the last action or command.

Multiple Answer Choice Question Style

Question styles that allow recipients to select answers from a list, and they are helpful when you want a narrow selection of responses and Multiple Choice, Checkboxes, and Dropdown.

Delete Question Icon

Resembles a trash can and deletes the question from the form.

Work Form

Smaller businesses can use it to create job applications, order forms, and feedback.

Educational Form

Teachers can use it to create quizzes and worksheets for their students to complete.

Question Style Types

The drop-down menu where you can select the style of question a user wants to use for that question.

Send Form Icon

The purple button in the top right corner this tool will allow you to send your form via email, social media, or a link.

Forms

These are used as an easy way to collect and analyze information.

Personal Form

These can be used to create event invitations, gather contact information, and find the best time to meet with various people.

These tools will automatically apply settings to all new questions in your Google Form.

This allows you to add a new blank question to your form.

Preview Icon

This allows you to see what the form will look like from the user's point of view or how your recipients will see the form.

Question More Options Icon

This allows you to show or add question description and response validation to your question.

Menu More Icon

This icon gives you access to additional features such as adding collaborators, making a copy of your form, printing your form, or deleting your form.

Required Question Icon

When turned on, this forces the user to answer the question you created before allowing them to submit their form.

Sending Forms

You can send a form via email, link, or embed it.

Sharing Forms

You can send a link to your form or give collaborators access so they can edit the form.
