"All right...I'm glad it's a girl...And I hope she'll be a fool - that's the best thing a girl can be in this world, a beautiful little fool."

Daisy says this regarding her daughter and her feelings regarding women's roles and abilities in society.

"I'd like to get one of those pink clouds and put you in it and push you around."

Daisy says this to Gatsby when they first come to his house, making things somewhat awkward for Nick to be there with them.
