Hypoestes

Also known as polka dot plants. Comes in green with white, pink or red.

Wax Begonia

These plants have red, white, or pink flowers with yellow centers. Leaves are light green or bronze red.

Impatiens

These plants love the shade! We will grow them under the tables in the greenhouse. They have waxy leaves and are very showy because of the large amount of blooms in various colors they get.

Dahlia

This flower can be as small as 2" in diameter or as big as 12" - like a dinner plate. Single blooms per stem.

This flower comes in orange, pink, red and yellow. Blooms next to each other resemble flames. Also known as woolflower or cockscomb.

This flower has tie-dye looking petals and grassy looking leaves. It is an annual that enjoys sun and rich, well drained soils.

Snapdragon

This flower has very tall spikes with individual flowerets. It likes full sun and well-drained soil.

Pansy

This flower is edible - has two slightly overlapping upper petals, two side petals and a single bottom petal.

Petunia

This flower is funnel or trumpet shaped. It also has tiny hairs that cover the leaves and stems of the plant.

Portulaca

This flower is small and fast growing, with blooms that resemble cactus blossoms. Will grow close to the ground and has leaves that resemble spikes.

Gazania

This flower is very similar in appearance to a daisy, but will close completely at night. It is also a great flower to attract butterflies.

Pennisetum

This perennial plant grows in a mound. It is great to put in deck pots to add some height and dimension.

Dark Eye Fuchsia

This plant attracts hummingbirds and does not like the afternoon sun or strong winds.

Spike

This plant can grow to be 8- 15 feet tall at maturity. It has narrow leaves with no flowers.

Ipomea

This plant comes in lime green or purple. It is a climbing plant and requires little maintenance.

Ground Ivy

This plant has an aroma of mint and it apart of the mint family. It thrives in shaded, moist areas and can become invasive.

Tuberous Begonia

This plant has double blossoms and is shade loving. If you grow this plant, you must dead head it in order for it to grow new flowers.

Coleus

This plant has very colorful leaf patterns. We will grow it in a lime and hot pink combination, as well as a purple and lime combination.

Vinca

This plant has very glossy foliage (leaves) and flowers resemble the flowers of an impatiens plant. It can be grown as a perennial in warmer climates and goes by the nickname of periwinkle.

Cyperus

This plant is a bright green perennial that is grown for their foliage. It is very sturdy and easy to care for. Also known as "Little Prince."

Alternanthera

This plant is also known as purple prince or purple knight. It will grow and cover the ground like a carpet. Trim the tips of this plant to keep it bushy.

Dusty Miller

This plant is also known as silver ragwort. It has silvery, velvety leaves. Used in planters to add a little different color variation.

New Guinea Impatiens

This plant is considered tropical because of where it originates from. Has thick green foliage to go with its large, bright flowers.

Vinca Vine

This plant is fast growing and even become invasive. It will bloom with little white or violet flowers.

Calibrachoa

This plant is known as "million bells" because of the large amount of small, funnel shaped flowers it gets. We plant it in baskets.

Marigold

This plant is one of the most popular annual flowers grown. This flower has a very distinctive odor that is great for keeping pests, like deer and rabbits, out of your garden.

Lobelia

This plant looks very similar to a daisy and is great to put in baskets to add some texture.

Verbena

This plant will cascade and be full of blooms. It is also deer resistant, super hardy, and easy to grow.

Salvia

This plant will have flowers that grow in a spike formation and comes in blue, red, orange, pink, yellow, purple and white. Used in floral designs, culinary arts, and medicine.

Geranium

We will grow this plant in these colors - red, pink, violet, salmon. Dark rings will appear on the leaves in brown or red as the plant grows older.
