Organic is caused by physical illness/injury that affects the brain. Functional is psychological cause and does not involve brain damage

Describe five therapy methods used for treating mental illness.
Psychotherapy: is when two people have an ongoing conversation with each other, these two people are a patient and a health professional. Behavioral Therapy: is when someone uses a treatment process that focusses on changing unwanted behaviors through rewards. Cognitive therapy: is a treatment method designed to identify and correct distorted thinking patterns that can lead to feelings/behaviors that could be dangerous. Group Therapy: is when you treat a group of people who have similar problems, and they meet regularly. The person leading is a trained professional. Biomedical Therapy: is when the patient uses medicine to get better/reduce symptoms of their disorder.
Difference between reactive depression and major depression
Reactive depression is a response to something (friends death) once you cope, it goes away Major depression is a medical condition that needs medical attention.
