Forms
Colorless, caustic liquid, decomposes in the presence of light; metals or catalase into water, and oxygen gas

Modes of action
Oxygen forms free radicals (-oh), which are highly toxic and reactive to cells
Limitations
Sporicidal only in high concentrations
