Example of Inequity

Men are more likely to die from breast cancer because they are less likely to get checked due to the idea that it is a women thing and the lack of awareness on the topic and so gets picked up later when difficult to treat. This is an inequity because it can be prevented

Example of Inequality

Men have higher rates than prostate cancer. This is an example of inequality because the difference is unavoidable and not unfair. Women have higher rates of cervical cancer than men. Old people have a higher rate of fractures Children having higher risk of head injury due to having gaps in the skull because it is not fully developed
