Touchscreen
Thin piece of glass that can detect touch and is used in place of a mouse or keyboard on most mobile devices
Double touch
Touch gesture used to either zoom in/out of a screen
Spread
Touch gesture used to enlarge or zoom in on an object
Slide/Swipe
Touch gesture used to navigate multiple screens either vertically or horizontally
Scroll
Touch gesture used to observe items that are too big to display on the screen natively.
Long touch
Touch gesture used to select an item or see if there are options available for that item
Pinch
Touch gesture used to shrink or zoom out of an object
Resistive
Touchscreen made up of two thin layers of conductive glass with air between them. The location of the touch is determines by where the layers touch. any thing that puts pressure on the screen will register as a touch, so a specialized stylus is not necessary
Capacitive
Touchscreen that determines the location of a touch based upon the human body (finger) disrupting the electrical field of the screen. If a stylus is needed it must be capable of disrupting the electrical field as well
Memory Card
Very physically small storage device, typically a micro SD card, used to expand the storage capacity of some mobile devices
Subscriber Identify Module (SIM) Card
Very small card used to authenticate a mobile device on a Cellular Phone companies data network. They can sometimes hold contact and text messages too
Circuitboard
Basically the motherboard of a mobile device.
