Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA)

An added feature of BSD, radar sensors hidden in the corners of the rear bumper scan for passing cars, motorcycles, and/or other vehicles as you back up. If the system detects a vehicle crossing into your intended path, a warning sounds and a light appears on the left or right outside rear view mirror, depending on the location of the other vehicle.

Advanced Smart Cruise Control (ASCC)

Maintaining a safe distance between you and the vehicle ahead of you is easier thanks to Advanced Smart Cruise Control (ASCC), a next-generation radar-based system.

Forward Collision Warning System (FCWS)

Driver's Seat Integrated Memory System (IMS)

The available memory allows two preset positions for both the driver's seat and outside rearview mirrors.

The head-up display enables the driver to see key driving information reflected on the windshield via a bright LED 8-inch projected screen.

High Beam Assist (HBA)

High Beam Assist (HBA) can detect approaching vehicles and will automatically dim your headlights from high to low beam.

Smart Blind-Spot Detection (SBSD) System

Smart Blind-Spot Detection (SBSD) adds a windshield-mounted camera to not only warn you of vehicles in your blind-spot, but in some cases, take action. If the system detects your Cadenza crossing into a lane when a vehicle is in your blind spot, it applies adequate brake pressure to the appropriate front wheel to bring you back on your intended course.

Solar Control Glass

Solar Control Glass (windshield, front & rear windows and back glass) helps reduce interior heat build up to keep you cool and comfortable.

Active Eco System

The Active Eco System proactively controls parts of the engine, transmission and A/C systems for optimal fuel economy.

Auto Defrost System

The Auto Defrost System removes moisture from the front windshield and front door glass, controlling glass fogging and interior humidity for clear views and maximum comfort.

The Interior Lighting with Delay feature provides perfectly timed light when you enter and exit your Cadenza. Once the door is closed, the lamps gradually dim.

Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS)

The Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) is your second set of eyes on the road. This camera-based system monitors the position of your vehicle within its lane and helps warn you if it deviates, or is about to deviate, from the lane. LDWS also helps warn you of a lane departure when your vehicle is traveling above a certain speed and the vehicle's turn signal is not activated.

Rear Parking Assist System (RPAS)

The Rear Parking Assist System (RPAS) uses a sonar sensor system to detect obstacles behind your Optima. If a hazard is detected, the system provides an audible warning.

Surround View Monitor (SVM)

The Surround View Monitor (SVM) system offers a near all-around view in several viewing modes displayed on the Navigation monitor.
