Tip: Press the up arrow key to recall the last command, then modify the command to use a different filename. To verify that file attributes have been set, type attrib followed by the filename (such as attrib d:\software\apconf.exe). Use the attrib +R filename command to set a file to read-only. For example, type: attrib +R d:\software\softcfg.cfg Repeat step 15 to set additional files to read-only.

Select the Exit menu. Press Enter to exit and save the changes. Press Enter to confirm and exit.
