Majority Leader of the House
A legislative position held by an important party member in the House of Representatives. selected by the majority party in caucus or conference to foster cohesion among party members and to act as spokesperson for the majority party in the House.
Speaker of the House
An office mandated by the Constitution. chosen in practice by the majority party, has both formal and informal powers, and is second in line to succeed to the presidency should that office become vacant.
Minority Leader of the House
The party leader elected by the minority party in the House. Tries to push minority agenda through
President of the Senate

Majority Whip
keeps the member of the majority party in party lines
Minority Whip
keeps the members of the minor party in party lines. Assists the speaker and minority leader.
President of the Senate pro tempore
temporarily acts when the President of the Senate is out (ceremonial leadership)

works with committees on legislation with scheduling, highest rating, appoints members to committees, sets debate times
