Using the second source, we read that babies should drink no more than 32 ounces of formula in a 24-hour period in order to keep a healthy weight. In that case, it seems unlikely that a majority of babies would need/drink that maximum amount daily and ultimately would benefit from a mild supplement. Overall, consulting with a doctor is important in either situation.

I would encourage her to begin prioritizing 7-9 hours of sleep per night with added naps if needed.
