David Bailey

Boudoir Photography

Boudoir is a French term meaning a woman's bedroom or private room for dressing or resting. Boudoir is a style of fashion photography, mainly of women, wearing little to no clothing. Subjects are sometimes in suggestive settings or positions to show the beauty of the subject's figure. Upscale hotel rooms, private homes, and studios are common staging areas. Boudoir photography is not considered erotic or pornographic, but rather an artistic and sensual view of the human body. These photos are often a popular wedding day gift.
