Represents the memory. While we may not be presently aware of something, we are able to bring it up and retrieve informations about it.
The ID
This is driven by instant gratification. It only cares about what will pleasure it in the moment.
Conscious mind
This is everything that you are present aware and thinking about.
Defense Mechanisms of the Mind
This is how the mind protects itself from anxiety. It shuts out things that may harm us in any way. May also shut out any impulses for inappropriate things we may want to do.
The Super Ego
This is our set of morals. It's the aspect of our mind that tells right from wrong
The Unconscious mind
This represents everything we are not aware of. These may be underlying feelings that may influence our everyday behavior.
