Complication that rises in those conflicts

Gretchen and Squeaky have a standoff and Gretchen's group sidekicks follow Gretchen. Squeaky names all of the reasons why Gretchen cant win, and before the race Gretchen makes squeaky a little nervous stretching her legs out like a pro and then during the race Squeaky doesn't know who will win because Gretchen is keeping up pretty well, and towards the end they thought it was a tie but Squeaky wanted to win.

Identify 2 conflicts

Mary Louise Squeaky's ex friend who talks bad about her said, "What grade are you in now, Raymond?" Squeaky said," You got anything to say to my brother yo say it to me, Mary Louise Williams of Raggedy Town, Baltimore. "What are you his mother?" sasses Rosie. "That's right Fatso. And the next word out of anybody and i will be their mother too. Gretchen tells Squeaky that she is going to win a first-place medal in the May Day this year, but Squeaky won't let that happen and claims she is the fastest and that goes for Gretchen too.

How are those conflicts resolve

Raymond and squeaky look at each other and he says Gidyap, and the girls leave while Squeaky continues her breathing exercises. Squeaky wants to coach Raymond so he can be her champion and is very proud of him and doesn't care who won her race but wanted to focus on Raymond now. Then they announce that Squeaky won and she smiles at Gretchen because she can see that she is a very good competator. then she nods and congratualates her and then she smiles. Now maybe they will make up and be friends.
