-Jesus is fully like us and has all of the same bones and feelings except for sin -not much is known about Jesus' young teen life -Jesus did not have a perfect life which showed us that true happiness comes from love -Jesus grew up learning and loving life just like us

a heresy that teaches that Jesus only seemed to be a man (human)

why did some people docetism was true
because some people thought that salvation consisted in freedom of matter, or bodily, they taught Jesus, as God, was truly not man
why are heresies dangerous
because they can trick us into thinking false stuff about Jesus that we can spread which is not true
why did some people think arianism was true
because they thought Jesus was the highest thing created but NOT good
how do we know arianism is wrong
because we know Jesus is God because he said so; his words were confirmed by miracles that he worked; and by his teachings we can be sure that Jesus is truly God the second person of the Holy trinity
how can we be sure that we are taught the truth
by listening to what the Magisterium of the Church is teaching us since, she is given the Charism of infallibility thought the Holy Spirit as promised Jesus
how did jesus declare him self God
by saying "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am." this happened at his baptism
miracles
events that are far above the natural powers of either man or nature. They are supernatural happenings done by God in order to prove some truth or show that holiness of something
why do we know docetism is wrong
genesis teaches us everything God created is good. it is important to our faith that Jesus is true man and like us in all things except for sin; in becoming man, he united man with God and redeemed man, so that we could have the life of grace and be united with God forever in heaven

why did God become man
so that he could share our human life; he chose to be born into a poor family to show that life is not about the riches but about the family love; so that he could save us from our sins and let us into heaven
what does his hidden life teach us
that he was raised like a normal child, and had a normal life; not much is known about him from his toddler/ teen years to about his 30s
what happened at Jesus' baptism
the Holy Spirit was present and the father's voice said "This is my beloved son of God, whom I am well pleased. John the baptist was also present and felt unworthy to baptize Jesus but jesus thought other wise

the gathering of all the worlds bishops together with the pope for a special reason. the councils are named after the cities or churches in which they have taken place. The very first one was that of Jerusalem. the latest was the Vatican II 1962-1965
what is arianism
the opposite of docetism; it teaches that Jesus was created, had a beginning in time , was less than God, and was not of the same substance as the father
who is Jesus
the son of God; the human form of God that God sent down to earth; he is the son of Mary our mother
incarnation
the truth that God became man. It refers to the conception and birth of Jesus, the son of God become man through Mary
what is the infallibility
the truth that the Catholic Church by special help of the Holy Spirit is kept free from error in teaching us what we must believe and how we must live

this is the mystery that in Christ the divine and human natures are united in the second Person of the holy trinity
