-Can be launched from records. -With whatever they are doing, they are automatically associated with the record that you launched the quick action from. -Can be added to the page layout.

Company Information

-Can find the company's locale, language, time zone, and local currency. -Find your org ID, Change when the fiscal year starts as well as activate currencies. -See your licensing information and monitor storage usage.

Fiscal Year

-Can have a standard 12 month Gregorian calendar or a custom one, and you can also specify when it starts and how the year is determined.

Page Layout

-Ensure that users are seeing relevant information including fields, sections, related links, and buttons.

User Interface (UI)

-Gives you control over your users experience within Salesforce. -Can configure and customize to provide the user experience.

List Views

-Is the list that you can see for Salesforce objects. 3 variations: List, Split, Kanban.

Default Locale

-Locale settings control how different values are displayed within Salesforce. -Locale controls the language and format of date and time, address, currency, name, and number fields.

My Domain

-My Domain allows you to define your own domain name within the Salesforce domain (for example, https://companyname.my.salesforce.com). -My Domain makes it easier to manage login and authentication and allows you to customize your login page. -Salesforce requires My Domain if you want to use Lightning components in Lightning tabs, Lightning pages, or as a standalone app.

Public Calendar and Resources

-Public calendars are used to keep your company up to date with any company information such as events or annual leave. -Resources can be referenced when booking events.

Business hours

-Specify the hours that your support team are available to support your customers. -You can set multiple business hours, but only one can be the default.

Identity Authentication & Device Activation

Allows you to control how and when your users are prompted to verify their identity.

Password Policies

Used to increase the security of an org and can be configured including password length, complexity, max number of incorrect logins, and lockout time. Password policies can be set at a profile level and organizational level.

Navigation Bar

-Top bar that you see that holds the tabs for the objects in Salesforce. -You can reorder, add or remove tabs. -You can also lock the navigation bar to prevent user customization.

App Manager

-Where admins can create, control visibility, delete and customize apps in great detail.

App Menu

-Where users can quickly and easily access apps. Can reorder or hide apps.

User List View

-Work exactly how list views work. Allows us to easily group and navigate through users. -You have all users, active users and admin users. -You have the actions of being able to create new users, reset multiple passwords at one time, and then you can also add up to 10 users.

Multi-Currency

Record Access

Referring to the records of objects that users can access, such as which accounts they can access or which contacts they can access.

Field Access

Referring to which fields users can see for an object or record and if they can edit them. Can be set at the profile level or at the object level.

Roles and the Role Hierarchy

Roles and the Role Hierarchy are used to grant access using hierarchies. Note that the role hierarchy does not need to represent your company organization structure. Role Hierarchies do not override profile settings; they deal with record access, not CRED permissions.

Salesforce API

Salesforce API allows access to Salesforce programmatically, instead of using the user interface. API is an abbreviation for 'Application Programming Interface'.

Setup Audit Trail

Setup Audit Trail is used to track any metadata changes to your Salesforce org. Can show what changes have been made and who made them.

Inline Editing in Lightning Experience

When a user hovers over the field, a pencil icon will appear if the cell is editable. On the other hand, a lock icon will be displayed if it is non-editable.

New User Creation

When creating a new user, the username has to be unique and in an email format, you can set licenses and locales for new users as well.

Enable Printable List Views

When enabled, will display a button that can be used to generate a print ready format of the data in the view.

Freezing and Deactivating Users

When you freeze a user, you lock them out of the Org. However, they still consume a Salesforce License. Deactivating a user is used when the user should no longer have access to Org. However, if the user is the only user for a workflow email, you'll need to remove them first.
