Who is affected by Original Sin? How are they affected?

All humanity was affected by the Original sin. Some examples are: we have to work harder, childbirth painful, it is hard for men and women to get alone, earning a living is so much work and we subject to death.

How is the loss of Adam and Eve's original holiness and justice symbolically expressed in Genesis, chapter 3?

It is symbolically expressed by the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Eating the fruit fro the tree is a symbolic way of saying...we don't need God; we can be gods ourselves.

What is the origin of Satan and his demons?

The Devil and his demons are fallen angels.

What are some of the different ways Satan is described in the Scriptures?

The Devil, Satan (means adversary).

Describe the spiritual battle that is occurring because of Original Sin.

The battle between good and evil. On one side of the battle is Satan, the evil one, who continues to tempt human beings to reject God, and the other side is God - the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who has promised to help us win this battle against evil.

Explain the deeper meaning of Adam and Eve's sin of disobedience.

They were no longer in loving communion with God, nor harmony with each other. Their disobedience will affect the future of all humanity. This is why it is now harder for us to do what we should do and easier to do what we hate.
