In at least one hundred and fifty words, state your opinion on the relationship between the federal government and state's rights. Do you believe that powers are shared, or does one party have more power than the other?

I believe the federal government and state's rights may both have shared power. The relationship between these two parties are that they're actually governed under the United States constitution. The goal was to distribute the powers in order to keep a just government in the United States. This was meant in order to prevent from someone taking over and abusing their powers. So this was a way to keep order within the government and the leaders with power. The federal government and states right work together and cooperate on projects on cities for example by building roads and other necessities to be done to serve the citizens. If the federal government and state's rights did not work together, the system would slowly fail because this structure was meant to have equality within powers to help the citizen in the United States. Therefore I believe both parties have shared power and work together well to help better the live of the people.

A special- interest group for my local school would be to increase school funding. In order for students to have better and updated textbooks, class equipment, reading books, technology, and many other resources would make a difference. My special-interest group would serve the local schools around the valley in order to have better sources and school equipment. Also to provide students with a new facility that could fit more students without having to share building with other facilities. It would be a better way to keep the school organized all together around the valley. In order to make this difference I would need to get everyone together, students, teachers, parents, and others who would support the idea. Therefor the special-interest group would need to unite and and support the goal and try to influence others in order to make a change for the students education. I could speak to the local school board who could help have a better impact to succeed this goal.

Do you agree that congressional members should be elected by popular vote? Why or why not? Use an example from the lesson to support your opinion. Your answer should be at least one hundred and fifty words.

I think that the congressional members should be elected by popular vote. This has been a method used throughout the years for elections and it's is an effective and fair way to be elected. It is actually fair because they're elected by the people opinions as to who they'd want to win the election. The decision is based upon the people's preference and feelings, so it shows that the government is allowing the people take part in a fair decision. It would be unfair and unjust for the leaders in power to make their own decision based on their own opinions for who to pick for the congressional members. It is a way to keep a balance with power to make sure the decision is not biased or unjust. Therefore by having the people elect it's giving them a chance to speak their mind and choose who they think will benefit the United States.

In at least one hundred and fifty words, compare and contrast the philosophies of constitutionalism and the divine right of kings. Which had the greatest impact on the formation of the U.S. Constitution?

One of the most valuable document in the United States that the citizens and all leaders in powers have to follow upon is the Constitution. It was formed in order to protect the citizens rights and assure them of their liberties that they have living in the United States. Constitutionalism was also made to protect the citizens rights and to have equality within society. However the divine rights of kings is a different structure of government that the United States never used, it's function is quite different compared to the constitutionalism. It is based more upon religious beliefs in which is why the term "divine" is inserted in the government structure title. Though the Divine right of King are in a way less considerate of their people. They give the Kings more power compared to the Constitution structure, and give them more freedom to do more with the King's' power. The King has more right to his power than to distribute the power within the citizens. This structure is more unjust compared to constitutionalism because constitutionalism is based more on the citizens rights and freedom. Therefore i believe that the Constitutionalism structure had a greater impact on the formation of the United States Constitution because the form created to protect citizens play a big roll which unlike the Divine rights of Kings.

On the other hand, the internet and social media could hurt a politician's reputation whether they are facts or rumours. People could also alter and edit pictures or videos and pass it as being true, in which would also harm the politician. The presidential elections process in the United States is a very effective and organized form. It has been used for years and it's just because it gives the citizens of the United States the power and the chance take action to choose between candidates to who should take charge. It's effective because it's not unjust or unfair because it's majority of votes who win the elections, rather than the people with power choose who should be the next man or women in charge. United States is lucky to have the chance to vote for whoever they think will do the best job as a president, because other countries have their next leader picked out until the current leader dies.
