Linking Verbs
A verb that "links" the subject with a noun or an adjective in the predicate EX. The pizza tasted delicious.
Action Verbs
A verb that shows either physical or mental activity. Ex. Walk.
Direct Object
Answers "whom?" or "what?" after an action verb
Indirect Object
Answers To whom? or For whom? Comes between an action verb and direct object. You need to have a direct object to have indirect object.

Does not have a direct object
