this is a self-contained area with Blackboard Learn that host course content, activities, students, and teachers.

Learner

this is a student whom is enrolled in a course.

Teacher

this is a user that is enrolled in a course as the teacher.

Blackboard Learn

this is web-based software that provides a user friendly way for teachers to place course materials, interactive and/or collaborative material, and assessments online. This provides students with a way to interact and collaborate with other students as well with the course materials.

User

is someone with access to Blackboard Learn. It can be a teacher or a student.

Course Type

a course can be self-paced or teacher led. It may be offered online or may be a blended/hybrid course where it is offered as a supplement to a face-to-face course.
