Cytoskeleton

Cell would have no structure or stability.

Centrioles

Cell would not be able to divide stunting growth. Separation of chromosomes during division would not happen because mitotic spindles would not be created.

Cilia

Cell would not be able to move and feed.

Flagella

Cell would not be able to move.

Ribosomes

If the ribosomes were not working properly then your cell would not be producing proteins. If your cell did not produce proteins enzymes would not be available to speed up reactions throughout your body, and they would also not be available to make the many organelles made with proteins such as microtubules which would cause many other problems within the cell.

Chloroplast

No energy so plant would die.

Mitochondria

No energy would be produced causing fatigue and muscle soreness.

Lysosomes

No enzymes, therefore build up of materials

DNA

No instruction for making proteins so none would be made.

Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum

No lipid based steroid hormones would be produced and it would not be able to detoxify substances so liver would fail when drinking to much alcohol and death would follow. Fats would also not be made.

Nucleolus

No ribosomes would be made so no proteins would be made.

Vacuole

No where for storage so eventual build up.

Secretory Vesicles

Secretion would not be possible so a build up of materials would occur impairing other organelles in the cell.

Golgi Apparatus

The proteins would not be packaged which would not allow lysosomes to have the digestive enzymes inside which would cause a build up of materials. Secretion would also not be possible because the Golgi would create secretory vesicles.

Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum

The substances would not be transported to the Golgi Apparatus, especially proteins. It would not be able to to modify these proteins by adding fats or sugars and folding them. By preventing the transportation our body would lake enzymes and we would not be able to break things down fast enough which would cause a build up or materials.

Phagocytotic Vesicle

Would not bring food, germs, bacteria into the cell to break down causing causing disease.
