100s-Han Dynasty in China writes about Japan's religion and government styles 300-400s- Yamato Clan becomes the most powerful and become the great emperor 500s- Borrowing creations and inventions from China 607- Prince Shook sends officials to Tang China and takes Chinese inventions 800-1200- Heian Age also known as the Golden Age. The capital is moved from Nara to Heian and the feudal Systems is developed and Samurai class is born. During this time the Nobility controlled the land. 1200-1300- Kamakora Shogunate. The emperor blessed the leader of the Minamoto clan with the name of shogun. During their rule the Mongols attacked Japan using up all of their money and resources leaving them in devastation leading civil war. 1300-1500- Civil War
