Hyphen
Don't space after it before a hypen; the purpose of the hyphen is to: connect compound words, show word division (I-I-I...), to create a dash
Apostrophe
Don't space before and after an apostrophe unless it is at the word in a sentence, use in contractions and to show possession
Slash
Don't space before or after a slash
Dollar sign
Don't space between a dollar sign and a number
Parenthesis
Don't space between a parenthesis and the rest within them
Number or pound sign
Don't space between figure and symbol, if it is used before a figure then it is the number sign, if it is use after figure it is a pound sign
Quotation mark
Don't space between quotation marks and the text they enclose, the closing quotation mark is always type after period Or comma but before semicolon or colon, closing quotation marks it typed after a question mark or exclamation point if the quoted material itself is a question or exclamation otherwise thethe quotation mark if type before the question mark Or exclamation
Percent
Don't space between the number and percent, sign
At symbol
Space beforehand after except when use in an email address
Colon
Space one time after a colon; uses of the colon include: following a salutation of a letter, introducing a series or emphasizing important information
Comma

Space one time after a question mark at the end of a sentence
