China: t's estimated that a new Starbucks café opens in China every nine hours. There are more Starbucks stores in Shanghai than in any other city in the world. Schultz said in September that China will overtake America as Starbucks's biggest market by 2025.

Employees: one of the best health care programs in the coffee shop industry, all employees that work over 20 hours a week are entitled to receive health benefits and to received stock options. Schultz's key to maintaining a strong business is by "creating an environment where everyone believes they're apart of something larger than themselves" Suppliers: Attempts to build a positive relationship with small coffee suppliers, while also working with governments and nonprofits wherever it operates. Follows (C.A.F.E) which is a set of socially responsible coffee buying guidelines that ensure preferential buying status for participants who receive high scores in best practices. Customers: Pleasing customers and enhancing the customer experience in its stores is a high priority. As a way to encourage people to relax and spend time there, Starbucks offers wireless Internet access and a welcoming environment.
