Drag and drop
Click the item you want to move with one finger. With a second finger, move the item. Release both fingers to drop the item at its new location.
Chrome Web Store
A Website (https://chrome.google.com/webstore) is used to find all the latest Chrome Apps and Extensions. Most are free.

Chromebit
A small HDMI "stick" (similar to a USB drive) running Chrome OS that can turn a television or computer display into a personal computer.
App Launcher
Accessed via the magnifying glass located in the bottom left corner of your Chromebook. Browse your installed apps or search the Internet.

System tray
Located in the bottom right corner of the desktop. It displays the time, current WiFi strength, battery life, and the current user's profile image.

the Shelf
The bar that sits at the bottom of the screen. It contains the system tray, app launcher, and quick-access icons.
Desktop
The display you see when the Chromebook boots up. The desktop displays your open app windows and the wallpaper image of your choice.
