On the Job Learning (OJL) Hours: As part of the Approved Apprenticeship Program, students are required to identify their On the Job Learning hours on a monthly basis. IECC Students - It is mandatory that students enter the hours online prior to the 15th of the following month being identified. Students failing to submit their OJL forms within the time frame identified will be assessed a processing fee of $20.00 for every month their forms are late. Students are required to submit monthly OJL repots via the IEC-Chesapeake website - www.iecchesapeake.com. Pay increases for state registered apprentices will be based on satisfactory completion of both hours worked and the appropriate segment of job related education as well as performance and tardiness/absenteeism record. Non-IECC students - please comply with your IEC Chapter and/or contractor requirements. It is a good idea to keep track of all your hours as an apprentice electrician.
