Using the chart you previously created, explain in approximately 100 words how the Declaration of Independence and the Declaration of Sentiments are alike.

The Declaration of Independence is a document that was drawn up by Thomas Jefferson stating the rights that every man should have from birth that the King of England had taken away. The Declaration of Sentiments, drawn up by Elizabeth Cady Stanton, is a similar document, but this one states that all women are born with the same rights as men and that the men have been taking those rights, the same way that King George III did to the founding fathers of the country. Another similarity is that they were both written in order to try to convince the population of an idea that was overwhelmingly unpopular.

Again using the chart you previously created, explain in approximately 100 words how the Declaration of Independence and the Declaration of Sentiments are different.

The Declaration of Independence, written by Thomas Jefferson, was a document that the Continental Congress had sent to King George III stating all the rights of the colonists that he had violated. The Declaration of Sentiments, drawn up by Elizabeth Cady Stanton, was a document that had been written for a similar purpose, but this time it was stating all the rights that men had taken away from women. Some of the differences between the two would include that the Declaration of Independence was an outline for patient sufferance for all citizens of the colonies as a whole, while the Declaration of Sentiments was an outline for patient sufferance for all women under the government, no men.
